Hi, I’m Annabel - chef, food stylist, recipe writer. I help leading brands created stunning imagery, videos and recipes which showcase their produce, products and services. As an entertaining expert I also love helping Australians entertain with more ease and a lot more joy.
My culinary roots were formed at Ireland’s Ballymaloe Cookery School, where I trained across classic technique, bread-making, butchery, and farm-to-table cooking. That foundation led me to England’s Badminton Estate, cooking everything from relaxed country lunches to exquisite dinner parties for aristocratic households, distinguished guests, and even the odd Royal or two. I learned how hospitality turns a meal into a memory: thoughtful menus, beautiful presentation, calm and refined execution.
Back in Australia, I launched a catering company known for generous, soul-satisfying dishes and jaw-dropping food installations - then shifted into food styling, recipe development, and creative direction for leading brands (including work behind the scenes with Maggie Beer and Silvia Colloca). Now, I’m stepping out from behind the camera to show Aussie home cooks how to plan, prep, plate and enjoy the party.
With four kids at home, my philosophy is simple: elevated, not complicated. I teach make-ahead mains, clever sides, signature desserts, and table styling that sets the tone -so you can welcome guests and enjoy the party!
